Crowdsource the work, too, to save money. I’m sure all the students who volunteered in Ondoy relief efforts will work on this, too.

Put the performance documents of the PNP – from the regional offices down to the sub-station level – into GoogleDocs. Crime rates, conviction rates, everything. Put it as a spreadsheet so for easy third-party analysis. After the Mendoza incident, I’m pretty sure a lot of IT folks will come up with ways to slice and dice the data.
